Court Services of Utah is the largest constable agency in the state, providing court security, bailiff services, and prisoner transportation for more than 25 municipalities across Utah. Our deputies play a critical role in supporting the justice system while gaining hands-on experience in a professional, structured environment.

What You’ll Do
As a deputy with Court Services of Utah, you will work in active court and transportation settings, supporting daily judicial operations. Our deputies regularly interact with judges, attorneys, court staff, law enforcement partners, and county jails throughout the state.
Assignments may include:

Court security and courtroom operations

Bailiff services

Prisoner transportation between facilities and courts

Supporting warrant and court-related operations
This role provides valuable exposure to multiple areas of the criminal justice system.

Requirements
- Completion of the SFO Block
- Ability to pass an employment background check
- Personal duty weapon
- Successful completion of firearms qualification
- Completion of our Field Training Officer (FTO) program
